Welcome to Whinfield Gallery Salcombe

Step into the small but perfectly formed gallery, artist’s studio and garden, now a part of the thriving Salcombe art scene.

Whinfield Gallery is a 12 minute walk up the hill from the heart of Salcombe - located in the leafy residential area of Herbert Road, with gardens and views across to the hills of East Portlemouth on the far side of the estuary.

The gallery hosts 4 ‘seasonal’ group exhibitions throughout the year featuring invited established and new artists from the wider Devon artists community.

There is also a permanent collection of work from the gallery owners - Salcombe artist Steve Kenna and Julie Grove Hills who work out of the Whinfield studio space where you can see their ongoing work - the doors are open to all.

Steve is a key member of the Salcombe artists community and Academician of the South West Academy of Fine & Applied Arts. You can read more about Steve and see a portfolio of his work on the Steve Kenna page
